Tullibardine Fullbore Championships 2020

Results

The Tullibardine Fullbore Championships took place at the West Atholl range over the weekend of August 15th/16th shooting at 400, 500 and 600 yards on Saturday and 900 and 1000 yards on Sunday.

Total entries at 19 were fewer than normal because of the limitations imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic but with light winds on both days the scores were relatively high.

Angus McLeod won the TR ‘A’ Class Saturday Agg. with a score of 255.39v just 4vs ahead of Claire Halleran on 255.35v but Claire won the Sunday Agg with a score of 198.27v, 1 point ahead of Angus so Claire Halleran won the TR Grand Agg with a score of 453.62v.

Angus McLeod was second on 452.59v with Kenny MacDonald 3rd on 448.53v.

TR ‘B’ Class was won by John Rankin with a score of 426.32v.

TRF Class (shooting on TR targets) was won by Peter Burbridge with a full score of 455.71v, not dropping a single point over the weekend.

FTR Class shooting on F-Class targets was won by Paul Crosbie with a score of 437.35v and the F-Open Class was won by Alan Manson with a score of 431.35v.

The TR team competition for teams of 4 shooters based on scores at 400X and 1000X was won by West Atholl Rifle club with a score of 714.69v with West of Scotland Rifle Club second on 705.57v.
