At Scottish Target Shooting we have a small team of paid staff to help us develop the sport and serve our members. There are three members of staff working from the STS Office based in Edinburgh.

Chief Operating Officer

Oliver Barsby

Full Time

The Chief Operating Officer is a full time role within Scottish Target Shooting. The role is responsible for the daily running of the governing body. It is the responsibility of this role to work with Directors to break down the strategic ambitions of the Board into operational targets to be delivered by staff and committees. The role is also responsible for ensuring the governance of the governing body is fit for purpose and complies with the regulations of sportscotland and its legal responsibilities as a Company Limited by Guarantee.

Performance & Pathways Manager

Jennifer Ross

3 Days/Week

The Performance & Pathways Manager is responsible for the management of the performance programme, supporting STS athletes to ensure they get the best coaching and support to enable them to achieve their potential. The role is also involved in providing opportunities to bridge the gap between grassroots and performance shooting, ensuring talent has an environment in which it can grow, be recognised and developed.

Officer Managers

The role of Office Manager within Scottish Target Shooting is a full time post shared between two people.

Jacqui Dunlop

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

On behalf of STS, Jacqui will be responsible for:

  • Leading on Membership Administration

  • Leading on Child Protection

  • Leading on Social Media & Website

  • Organising Meetings and Minute Taking

  • Admin Support for the Performance Programme

Frances Lochtie

Tuesday & Thursday

On behalf of STS, Frances will be responsible for:

  • Leading on Event Organisation

  • Leading on Equality

  • Admin Support for the Education Programme
