We are very sorry to tell you that the 10m Air Pistol and Rifle Para Open Meeting willl now take place on Saturday 22 March 25 only. This was a very difficult decision but due to low entries on Sunday 23 March 25 it is the sensible thing to do. The venue is still Napier University, Centre for Sport & Recreation in Edinburgh.
There is still time to enter for the Saturday competitions.
The Event is open to all competitors with upper and/or lower limb impairment and those with a vision impairment who use either acoustic equipment or paper targets to shoot.
Please note : all entrants need to bring their own equipment to enable them to take part. We do not have any equipment available for this event at the venue.
The main categories and classes that you can shoot are
but we are happy to accommodate entrants who do not fit exactly in to the given categories.
There are two classes for Vision Impaired entrants who shoot Air Rifle. These are VI-S for Standing and VI-P for Prone. Both these competitions are mixed gender. There are no competitions for Vision Imapaired Pistol competitiors.
For those entering two or more relays your first 2 scores in the same discipline will be added to create an aggregate.
We welcome all shooters with a physical impairment. A national or international disability classification for shooting is not required for this event. We hope to have someone available at the event to answer any questions on applying for a disability classification.
Entry Price is £12 per Relay. Since Scottish Target Shooting has received funding for this event the entry fee is discounted as a result. There are no further member or other discounts..
