What discipline(s) do you shoot? I shoot Olympic Trap, a shotgun event.

Which coaches have helped you get to this point in your shooting journey? My father has been my main coach and recently I was selected to join the Hillfort sporting scholarship where I had access to coaching from Matt Coward Holley.

How did you get involved in the sport and what was your shooting journey to get on to the performance programme? I come from a traditional estate background therefore shooting has always been a part of my life. My father setup a shooting ground in 2016 called The Highland Shooting Centre which allowed me to progress to a higher level. I first shot in the Scottish Junior Down The Line team in 2021 and have been part of it ever since. This year (2023) I captained the Scottish Junior DTL team where I won overall British Champion Junior High Gun and the Home International Junior High Gun. I also went on to win Overall Junior High Gun at the British Open Double Rise. Now I have made the decision to progress into Olympic Trap.

Where you do your shooting? I shoot at my family run ground The Highland Shooting Centre.

What are your hopes and plans for the future in terms of your shooting career? I would like to transfer my current shooting skills into Olympic Trap and compete at a high level. My main goal is to compete at the commonwealth games and take home a Gold Medal for Scotland.

Any other interesting non-shooting related fact about yourself that you would like to mention? I love to fly fish and hunt in my spare time. I'm currently studying to be a surveyor at Edinburgh Napier University.
