It was a warm and sunny Aberdeen that greeted us on the morning of Saturday 22nd June. It initially looked like it would be a calm day but the wind soon got up and made things tricky for the 10 competitors. Bobby Spence top scored in the men's qualification with 1129, as he prepares to go to the Island Games in a few weeks. Good luck Bobby. He was 4 points ahead of Brogan Smith and Ruaraidh Macleod, who both scored 1125. Vikki Walls shot an 1130 in the women's qualification. The final was won by Tom Diggle by 0.1 from Vikki Walls, a reverse of the first 2 places in GP2. Ruaraidh Macleod was 3rd.
Next up is the 50m Rifle Championship on the weekend of 13/14 July
