The STS Gallery Rifle AMG organised the Scottish Gallery Rifle Championship 2023 from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th July at Joint Services Pistol Club. 26 competitors shot 198 scorecards over the weekend and 4 new Scottish Championship records have been set.
A massive thank you to all the volunteers that helped over the weekend, without these volunteers the event wouldn’t have been a success. Also, thanks to Jonny Cormie who was the Match Director and arranged squadding, RO’s, range crew etc.
The Scottish Championship is made up of 6 rifle events (TP1, MT and 1020 for Smallbore and Centrefire Rifle) for the Rifle Champion and 6 Revolver & Pistol events (TP1, MT and 1020 for LBP and LBR) for the LBR & LBR Champion. Grand Prix “points for position” scoring is used based on positions in the individual events and there are a total of 150 points available.
