3P Grand Prix 1

Saturday 4 May, 2024 saw the first 3P Grand Prix of the 2024 season at Denwood.  It was a cold day but the wind was light. 

The top 3x20 was a 552 from Bobby Spence.  Unfortunately Neil Sinclair had technical problems with his sights during the standing, which meant that his first outdoor score was not as good as it might have been, but there is always GP2. 

The final was a close run event with Sheena Sharp taking 1st place by 0.8 from Booby Spence.  Martin Sinclair took third place.

Prone Grand Prix 1

On Sunday 5 May 2024, the first Prone Grand Prix of the 2024 season took place at Denwood.  The conditions were good with very little wind and fairly steady light conditions.  However, the wind did start to move little more in the afternoon.

 The medal winners in each class were

  • Class A:
    1st Chris Stirling
    2nd Martin Sinlcair
    3rd Bobby Spence

  • Class B:
    1st Kirsty Scott
    2nd Sheena Sharp
    3rd Mark Ferrari

  • Class C:
    1st Amanda Puchalla
    2nd Kirsty Noble
    3rd John Campbell

  • Class D:
    1st Alexandra Lehmann

In the C&D Final:

1st Amanda Puchalla
2nd Aleyna Kartal
3rd Kirsty Noble

In the A&B Final:
This was a good competition with not much separating the finalist as they progressed through the final. 
In the end the result were as follows:

2nd David Strachan
3rd Bobby Spence
