It's the turn of the year and the Rifle Grand Prix switch to Saturdays. So Saturday 11th January sees us at the Cumberland News range in Carlisle. We had 16 competitors for the competition and 3 people had an second shoot. It was good to meet a few that were competing for the first time. Rhona Love and Bertie Galloway both set new personal bests in the qualification, congratulations to them and any others that I did not hear about.
The Class winners, who received tins of RWS pellets as prices, were Class A: 1st Vikki Walls, 2nd Ruth Mwandumba Class B: 1st Abby Martin, 2nd Graham Love Class C: 1st Bertie Galloway, 2nd Angus Strudick Class D: 1st Rhona Love, 2nd Steph Cooper
We had an exciting final with a shoot off for 3rd place. Ruth Mwandumba took 1st place with a score of 244.8, Vikki Walls (241.7) was 2nd and Tom Diggle 3rd.
In the points table, Vikki Walls has an unassailable lead on 45 points.
