STS Chief Operating Officer, Oliver Barsby, said: “Scottish Target Shooting (STS) is delighted to partner with British Shooting to bring a regional qualifier of the British Schools Pistol Competition to Scotland.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with schools in Scotland and get more young people engaged in the sport, with the added incentive for successful shooters to go on and represent Scotland at the finals.
"STS believes this is a fantastic move by British Shooting in hosting one of its qualifying events in Scotland so the British Shooting name can be used to inspire Scottish residents by bringing an event to their doorsteps. This has been made possible through the formation of STS and the strength of the partnership with British Shooting and we hope this will be the first of many events we can bring to Scotland.”
