STS was shocked and saddened to learn that John Buchanan, a long-time member of the SSRA Committee, and more recently of the Smallbore Association Management Group, passed away suddenly in late July.
John was a member of Masonic (Edinburgh) Rifle Club and was its leading organiser for many years although he had retired from shooting.
His involvement in shooting also included acting as an ISSF Judge at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games and also as a volunteer at the 2014 Games.
