At the start of the month, STS announced that it will be holding it’s first Coaching Conference on Saturday 25 May, bringing shooting specific topics and discussion opportunities to coaches in the sport. Following feedback from the shooting community and further reflection, it has been decided that this event should be postponed.
STS remains committed to holding this event to support the development of coaches, but in view of the challenges of holding such an event, the timescales required to allow for sufficient promotion, and the packed calendar of shooting events in the summer and autumn, it has been decided that the event is to be postponed to October.
At present, the likely dates have been narrowed down to Saturday 5th October or Saturday 19th October to avoid the international ISSF Shotgun World Cup Final and domestic STS 10m Winter Grand Prix events.
STS firmly believes the programme remains strong and this is unlikely to alter, although speakers may change depending on availability.
Once details have been finalised, an update will be provided to members and a new invitation to sign up to the event will be released.
