2024 GB Junior International
Day 2 : Tuesday 6th August Report
Continuing action from this week at the GB Junior International Shooting Competition at The Lord Roberts Centre, Bisley.
Tuesday saw Bruce and Penny Flett shoot their 10m Grand Prix match in the morning whilst Gemma Patullo was shooting 25m Sport Pistol.
Isobel Mactaggart, Finlay Moffat plus Bruce and Penny Flett then shot Sport Pistol in the afternoon.
Torrential rain during the Sport Pistol detail in the morning brought back memories of two years ago when shooting had to stop until the targets could be seen again!
Thanks to the range staff who continued to go forward to score the targets in the heavy rain – which seemed to increase in intensity just at these times – the match continued without incident!
Emilia avoided the rain, but not the heat, by shooting her 10m Grand Prix match in the afternoon.
The medal presentations started with the presentation of a Silver medal to Penny Flett for women’s Target Sprint.
Lewis Dillon, Penny Flett and brother Bruce took the Silver for the Target Sprint Team Event.

Emilia Faulkner won Bronze on Monday 5th August in the Standard Pistol competition with her borrowed pistol.
