Extremely sad to share the news regarding the passing of Colin Oswald from Joint Services Pistol Club (JSPC). He’ll be sorely missed by many, such a great guy and a massive loss to everyone that had the privilege to know him.

Colin was a significant part of Scottish shooting over decades from running a club, hosting competitions, working with SPA, STS and co-founding the Scottish Gallery Rifle Squad. Colin continued to manage the Scotland squad for 16+ years until 2023 and we wouldn’t be the squad we are today without all his hard work and patience over the years.

I was speaking with Colin at the Nationals last year and he was saying he didn’t think he’d manage to attend due to his health but didn’t want it to be the first time he’d missed Bisley since 1986!
