Success for Scotland at the British Airgun Championships

The British Airgun Championships took place at the Lord Roberts Centre, Bisley from Friday, 24th to Sunday, 26th February

Scotland achieved their first ever women's team win in forty years of the Home Countries match at the British Air Gun Championships, with the winning team of Seonaid McIntosh, Jen McIntosh and Vikki Walls winning Gold in the Women’s Air Rifle. 

Seonaid McIntosh won individual Gold in the Women’s Air Rifle competition, ahead of Jen McIntosh who finished second.     Vikki Walls finished 7th in the Junior Women’s Air Rifle, and Brogan Smith took 5th place in the Junior Men’s Air Rifle.

Aedan Evans had a great competition and won Gold in the Junior Men’s Air Pistol competition, with Katie Knowles finishing 5th in the Junior Women’s Air Pistol.

In the 10M Air Pistol open competition Caroline Brownlee finished in Bronze position in the Women’s competition with David Owen 4th and Nick Pye 5th in the Men’s competition.
