Former Scotland Captain John Glen Passes Away

Scottish Target Shooting is sad to announce the passing of John Glen, often known as 'Glyn' to friends, on Friday 29th June at about 11pm.

John was a famous target rifle shooter of yesteryear.  He captained Scotland in the 1970's and toured Australia and New Zealand with the famous GB team at the end of the 1960's.

Colin McEachran expressed his sorrow at John's passing, reflecting fondly that John's caravan at Bisley was a famous watering hole for those who wanted to blank out their bad scores.

The Memorial Service took place on Saturday 6th July at Trossachs Kirk.

John will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
