Sheena Sharp Reaches Landmark 150 Caps for Scotland

Sheena is still going strong, becoming Scottish Champion winning the Haig competition at the 2017 Scottish Open at Thirlestane Castle, Lauder

The list of Scottish caps was today updated on the STS website following the Scottish Meeting at Lauder over the last week.

Today's update included a notable milestone for Sheena Sharp who has now reached 150 caps for Scotland, an exceptional achievement. That puts her 35 ahead of Robin Law in second place with 115 caps and then with over twice as many as Cyril De Jonckheere and Angus Paterson, both tied for third place with 74 caps.

Sheena winning individual Gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games

Still going strong, Sheena has a number of successes for Scotland and GB, most notably winning a Silver medal in the 50m Prone Rifle Pairs event with Susan Jackson at the 2002 Commonwealth Games before going on to win 2 Gold medals at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, again in the pairs with Susan Jackson as well as in the 50m Prone Rifle individual event.

Still a regular on the range and at STS events, Sheena can be seen competing whenever and wherever she can, often in both the Prone and 3P events.

Congratulations Sheena!
