The Performance Programme is an inclusive pathway, open to both able-bodied athletes and athletes with a disability, structured to support athletes at various stages in their progression – from athletes working towards Olympic selection, all the way down to those just starting out on their journey.
Talent Transfer
The programme focuses on Olympic disciplines and events but for 2019-20 we are also opening up the process to enable athletes from non-Olympic shooting events/disciplines to apply to the programme if they feel they have a strong case for transferring their skills to an Olympic discipline/event.
New Applicants
Athletes currently not on the programme are able to apply using the link below which will direct them to the ‘Getting Selected' page where the Selection Policy and application form can be found.
Existing Athletes
Existing athletes will be contacted by the Performance & Pathways Director regarding the process but will still need to demonstrate how they meet the standards outlined in the revised Selection Policy.
Selection Policy & FAQs
Given that the policy and process has gone through an extensive review, all applicants should familiarise themselves with the Selection Policy, available on the ‘Getting Selected’ page below. However, we have also created a Selection FAQs page to explain a bit more about the programme itself, as well as the selection process. A link to this page has been provided below
